A New Year, A New Cottage!

The start of the year saw a new addition to the WildPlum collection in the shape of

No 9, our newly refurbished, luxury, end of terrace cottage situated amongst rolling

farmland and just a stroll away across the fields to the local pub!

We have painstakingly refurbished every inch of this old farm workers cottage, which

oozes with traditional charm whilst offering all the amenities of modern day living.

The 2 bedroom property is very well set up for families, couples or friends with a wonderful

light sitting room offering cosy sofas, a wood burner and large windows offering a great

view over the surrounding countryside. The garden is a delight - it is fully enclosed and

offers privacy for outside dining in the warmer months.

We also feel no 9 is very well suited to both ramblers and cyclists. There are some

wonderful walks right on the doorstep - the famous Flodden battlefield can be reached

on foot from the property and just a little further afield finds you in the Cheviot Hills or

on St Cuthbert’s way – both walking meccas in this county if not the UK! For those on 2

wheels no 9 has an outhouse to store up to 4 bicycles with miles and miles of empty

country lanes offering some incredible views.

2015 will see Northumberland hosting 2 stages of the UK’s largest professional cycle race

and on the 9th September the route will see the world’s top cyclists race just a 10 minute

walk away from both The Smithy and No 9. We can’t wait to witness this high profile event

and hope you can join us!
