BANISH THE BLUES WITH A COSY STAY IN JANUARY

We have had a really exciting 2015, particularly with the renovation of our newest property No 9 which has proved really popular since we opened the doors. The cottage is in an ideal location in North Northumberland just 5 miles south of the Scottish Borders, with loads to see and do in the area. It is near main roads for great access to coasts and castles, but situated in a very quiet location surrounded by fields and nature. Plus there is great walking direct from the door including footpaths to the nearby Flodden Battlefield. It is situated on the same farmstead as The Smithy and the two properties can be booked together for larger parties.

We have a feeling 2016 is going to a busy year, with many more now choosing to holiday in the UK and discovering all the variety that Northumberland has to offer but why wait until Summer!! Prices are at their lowest right now and what better way to treat yourself after the social season than with a break in one of our cosy cottages for a bit of rest and relaxation, two words we read time and again in our reviews from previous guests.

If you are craving pure fresh air, peace and quiet, blustery walks and roaring fires there is no better place to be. Whether it is just the two of you, a group of friends or even a family weekend away we have the perfect property for you plus we are dog friendly so the hounds can come too.

We cannot talk about cosy cottages and roaring fires without mentioning Valentine’s Day hovering just around the corner we currently still have availability for The Bothy at Reedsford.

Finally, we would like to wish our guests past and present a very Happy New Year from us at WildPlum and we look forward to welcoming you up here in wonderful North Northumberland soon!
